The United Methodist Women is an organization in the church open to any woman who desires to belong and to participate in the golbal mission of the church. It. members strive through Bible studies, retreats, and inspirational events to know God. The somen actively, support local and global missions, with special emphasis on ministries with women, children and youth. Financial support for missions is provided by various special projects and offerings. The United Methodist Women atDavis Street suppots a women's Reading Program and has donated Christian books for our children and youth. They provide meals for the Methodist Men's monthly meetings, with profits going to refurbish the kitchen area at the church. Meetings are held on the first Monday of the month at 2:00 p.m. in the Conderence Room. |
